Description
No's 6A, 6B, and 7 on Tippens Close is a farmhouse that has been converted into a trio of cottages. It dates back to the 16th century and features a timber frame with exposed wall posts on the ground floor, which are filled with red brick. The upper part of the building is tile-hung. The roof is plain tiled, hipped to the right and half-hipped to the left, with chimney stacks located off the ridge to the front on the left and to the rear in the center. The building has two storeys and displays an irregular arrangement of windows, with six on the first floor and five on the ground floor, all of which are various 19th-century casements. There are boarded doors with flat hoods supported by brackets, located to the right for No 6A, in the center for No 6B, and to the left for No 7.
