Description
Nos. 4 to 6 in Arrow, Alcester, are a row of three cottages dating from the late 16th century and 17th century. They feature a timber frame with whitewashed brick infill and a plinth, topped with a tile roof. Notably, No. 4 displays some close studding on its first floor. The cottages have a three-unit plan and stand two storeys high with a four-window range. There are three 19th-century plank doors, with Nos. 5 and 6 having paired doors, and rustic wood porches dating from around 1870 to 1880, which are adorned with fish-scale tile roofs. The windows are a mix of 19th and 20th-century metal casements, and brick ridge chimneys are present. To the right of No. 4, there is a later single-storey addition. The interior has not been inspected.
