Description
The Toll House, originally two dwellings, dates from around 1810. It is constructed of colourwashed scored stucco with stucco dressings and features slate hipped roofs with an intermittent bracket eaves cornice and brick ridge chimneys. The building has a double depth plan with canted ends on the right-hand block. It stands two storeys tall and has a two-window range facing both Evesham and Worcester roads. The main facade on Evesham Road includes a six-panelled, four-centred arched door with a moulded wood surround located in the right canted side. There are also two-light arched-head windows with Gothick glazing, and hood moulds above the door and ground-floor windows. The rear facade is identical to the front but lacks an entrance. There is a low single-storey contemporary wing attached. The interior has not been inspected.
