Description
Ragley Hall Garden House is a former garden house that is part of the kitchen garden enclosure, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a brick dentil cornice and a parapet. The roof is tiled with brick chimneys at each end. The parapet is topped by three stone busts that were reinstalled in 1984. The building has a central staircase plan and presents a symmetrical main frontage to the kitchen garden, consisting of two storeys and an attic with three roof dormers and a three-window range. The central entrance features double-leaf half-glazed doors set within a simple wood classical doorcase that includes pilaster strips, an entablature, and a cornice. The windows are casements with glazing bars, placed under segmental brick arches. The main entrance is located at the rear. The interior was restored and remodelled after 1957, and there are mid to late 20th century additions.
