Description

The Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on the north side of Cranbrook High Street. It is timber framed and has a ground floor clad in painted brick, with the first floor tile hung. The roof is steep and tiled, with a brick stack at the rear. The cottage is two storeys high with an attic, and has an irregular two-window front, with the first-floor windows set under the eaves. The windows are 19th-century wooden casements. A board door is positioned in the centre, sheltered by a flat hood.
