Description
Little Shepherds is a house located on the north side of Cranbrook High Street. It dates from the 17th century, with a front added in the mid-18th century and some alterations made in the early 19th century. The building is timber framed and weatherboarded, featuring a string course. It has a plain tiled roof with a modillion eaves cornice and end brick stacks. There are three flat-headed dormers placed irregularly on the roof. A brick chimney-breast is located on the west wall. The house has two storeys and attics, with a regular three-window front. The outer bays have two-storey canted and weatherboarded bays. The central entrance features a panelled door surrounded by a moulded architrave, topped with a fanlight and an open triangular pediment supported by brackets.
