Description

The Mainwaring memorial, located about 39 metres south of the south transept of the Church of All Saints, is a pedestal memorial that likely dates from the 1860s. It is made of pink granite, featuring polished inscription panels. The pedestal has a moulded base and a moulded cornice, topped with a draped urn. Surrounding the memorial are low cast iron railings designed as panels with crossed arrows and central wreaths, supported by tapering principal standards that have finials shaped like torches. The inscription commemorates Mary Mainwaring, who died in 1863, along with other family members.
