Description

White's Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier. It features a timber frame with tile hanging on the first floor and red brick in English Garden Wall Bond on the ground floor, along with weatherboarding on the return elevations. The roof is plain tiled and hipped on the left side, with a stack and an additional stack at the rear left. The cottage has two storeys, with two pairs of three-light wooden casements on each floor and a boarded door in a plain surround to the center right. There is a small gabled extension on the right return elevation and a returned wing on the left. At the rear of the main range, there is a catslide outshot.
