Description

HAWKHURST RYE ROAD TQ 7630-7730 (north side) 17/407 The Lodge, Fowlers Park GV II Lodge house. Early C19. Red brick, part rendered, and slate roof. One storey and attic, with gabled roof and central stack. Pointed arched windows to left and to right with gauged surrounds (painted to right) with leaded Y-tracery lights, and boarded door to centre right in painted pointed-arched surround. Two Y-traceried pointed arched windows to gable end at left, and to rear, with C20 extension and dormer. Gate lodge to Fowlers Park.
