The front facade has a regular three-window arrangement, with glazing bar sashes featuring open boxes on the first floor. Two hipped glazed square bays with weatherboarded sides are located below a flat-headed weather-boarded porch, which has an arched surround to the panelled door and a cast iron fan light. A two-storey wing extends to the rear. The cottage is included on the register for its group value.
