Description

Mount Pleasant is a house dating from around 1700, with additions made in the mid-19th century. It has a timber frame set on a plinth, featuring incised plaster on the ground floor and painted tile hanging on the first floor. The roof is plain tiled with boxed eaves, hipped to the left, and includes a projecting end stack to the right and a ridge stack on the gable to the left. The house is two storeys high and has an irregular front with four windows. The three windows to the left are arranged regularly around the entrance, which reflects the original part of the house. The first-floor windows are glazing bar sashes with open boxes. The entrance, located to the right, features a moulded doorcase and a moulded flat entablature hood supported by brackets.
