Description

This is an oasthouse located 75 yards north of Mote Farmhouse, built in the mid-19th century. The structure is made of coursed rubble stone and features a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and has a double door on the ground floor facing south, with a single door above it. At the western end of the granary, there are two large roundels on each side. The oasthouse has slate roofs with eaves that splay outwards, and both the cowls and wind-vanes are intact.
