Description

The Old House is a house dated 1710, constructed from coursed dressed rubble stone with flint galletting. It features boxed eaves beneath a half-hipped plain tiled roof with end stacks. The building is L-shaped, with a later wing added to the rear. It has two storeys, with four glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two tripartite sashes on the ground floor, the left-hand one set in a segment-head surround. The entrance is located to the left, featuring a wide wooden doorcase with pilaster-strips that support a flat hood, and a half-glazed door. An oval panel on the first floor displays the date in its center.
