Description

Forge Cottage is a 17th-century cottage with a timber-framed structure. The ground floor is built in brick, while the first floor features weatherboarding on the right side and a catslide extension on the left. The roof is plain tiled, half-hipped to the left and hipped to the right, with a brick stack located off-ridge at the rear. The building has two storeys and an attic, with very irregular fenestration consisting of 19th-century casements. The entrance is marked by a 19th-century door located under the catslide.
