Description
Kingsworth House is a house located in West Malling, with a late 18th century or early 19th century front that is said to have 17th century origins. The building is finished in pebbledash and has an old tiled roof featuring a brick chimneystack on the left and an external chimneystack on the right. It is L-shaped and has two storeys with two windows on the front. The windows are mid-19th century sashes that have verticals only and horns. The central entrance features a wooden doorcase with a flat hood supported by brackets, which has decorative drops underneath, resembling a vernacular version of the doorcase at Arundel House, No. 88 High Street. The entrance door itself is a six-panelled design. On the right side elevation, there is one four-paned sash window, a three-light canted bay window, and a gabled weather porch that includes an early 19th century six flush-panelled door with the top two panels glazed. The front of the house is complemented by attached spear railings.
