Description

The White Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage located on the east side of West Street in West Malling. It is constructed of painted brick and features a slate roof with end brick chimneystacks. The building stands two storeys high and has two windows along with one window space. At the top, there is a parapet with stone coping. The upper floor has two 12-pane sash windows set in moulded architraves, while the ground floor features a flat wooden weather hood supported by brackets. The original door is a six-panelled design with reeded detailing, where the top two panels are glazed and divided into four sections.
