Description

This barn, located 30 yards west of Ivy House Farmhouse, dates from the 17th century, with an aisle likely added in the 18th century. It is constructed from timber framing and is weatherboarded, topped with a hipped roof covered in plain tiles. The barn features an aisle on the west side only and has central wagon entrances on both sides. It consists of five bays and has a queen-post roof, supported by heavy splayed posts that carry clasped purlins and principals that diminish above the purlins.
