Description
The Limes is a house dating from the early to mid 18th century, with a mid 19th-century elevation. It features ornamental stucco with a plinth and rusticated quoins. The building has a parapet with a moulded cornice above a hipped plain tiled roof, which includes a central flat-headed dormer. The house is two storeys tall and has a four-window facade, with glazing-bar sash windows that have open boxes; one window on the first floor to the right is blocked. All windows are surrounded by moulded stucco architraves, and those on the ground floor have additional projecting entablatures supported by scroll brackets. There is a half-glazed door accessed by four steps in the centre, which is framed by a projecting columned porch.
