Description

This is a terrace house, dating to around 1818, located on the west side of Waterloo Road, Ramsgate. The house is constructed of stock brick with an interlocking tiled roof. It is two storeys high with a half-basement, and features a parapet to the hipped roof, with a stack at the rear. A blank window space is present on the left return. The front elevation curves, incorporating a glazing bar sash window. The ground floor has two glazing bar sashes, and a 20th-century panelled door to the right, approached by six steps leading to a simple railed forecourt. Basement windows to the left have sash and wooden casement glazing. The house appears on Collard and Hurst’s 1822 map of Ramsgate.
