Description

This gate and gatepiers, located about 20 metres west of Nos. 1 and 2 Spencer Square in Ramsgate, were built in the late 19th century. The piers are rendered and feature vermiculated panels and a cornice. The central iron gate has spiked rails. The design of the gate and piers complements the nearby house, St. Benet's, and they are included for their group value.
