Description
No. 10 is a terrace house located on The Paragon in Ramsgate, built around 1816. The building is rendered and features a slate roof. It has four storeys and a basement, with a parapet at the roof and chimney stacks on both the left and right sides.
On the third floor, there are two late 20th-century wooden casement windows. The second floor has one wooden casement window and one sash window, all with segmental heads. The first floor features two French windows that open onto a verandah, which has moulded elliptical arches supported by trellis-piers and a balustrade with a Gothick pattern.
The basement and ground floor have a bow shape, with two sash windows that include vertical glazing bars, and a half-glazed door to the right, topped with a semi-circular fanlight, leading up a flight of five steps. There is also a sash window and a half-glazed door at the basement level. The property is enclosed by spear head railings. This building is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
