Description
No. 7 is a terrace house located on The Paragon in Ramsgate, built around 1816. The house is rendered and features a slate roof, standing three storeys tall with a basement. It has a parapet at the roof and chimney stacks on the left side. On the second and third floors, there are two late 20th-century wooden casement windows. The first floor has two French windows that open onto a glazed verandah, supported by oval panelled piers and adorned with a scrolled balustrade. The basement and ground floor feature a bow window with three wooden casements, alongside an original panelled door to the right that has an oval panel and Greek key ornamentation, topped with a semi-circular fanlight and moulded surround. Access is via a flight of five steps. The basement also includes a wooden casement window and a half-glazed door. The property is enclosed by spear-head railings and is included for its group value.
