Description

MINSTER BEDLAM COURT LANE TR 3064-3164 (West Side) 5/7 Laundry about 15 metres west of 6-2-58 Minster Abbey GV II

Brewhouse, now laundry. Possibly C12 in origin. Flint with plain tiled roof. Square plan. One storey and hipped roof with large gablets. Stack at end right. Segmental headed doorway of re-used tooled stone, with boarded door. Blocked round arched window on left return, and C19 tripartite glazing bar sash to rear. Interior: C17 clasped purlin roof, and large cross-beams for suspension of equipment.
