Description
The Old School is a building that was originally constructed as a school in 1847 and extended in 1854. It now serves as a church hall. The structure features coursed rubble with a slated roof, and it is one storey high with an attic. The gables are kneelered, and there are three small blocked gable dormers. The building has projecting stacks at the right end and corbelled stacks at the left end. There are five stone mullioned and transomed windows with labels, along with projecting and gabled doorways at both ends. These doorways have four-centred arched surrounds and are fitted with boarded doors that have crescent and strap hinges. Above the doors, there are scrolls indicating "Girls" to the left and "Boys" to the right. The interior has been altered to accommodate a hall.
