Description

Wintons Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of stock brick, with red brick on the rear and right elevation, and rendered on the left side. The roof is plain tiled and features a Mansard design with two dormers and a central loft door, along with two additional dormers on the left return. The right side has segmental windows and a half-door, while the left side has a six-panelled door with a rectangular fanlight above it. There are central double carriage doors as well. The left return elevation includes cambered glazing bar sashes. Surrounding the property is a garden wall, primarily made of flint, which stands about seven feet high and encloses a partly cobbled courtyard.
