Description
Grove Farmhouse is an early 19th-century house located on Manston Road. It is constructed of stock brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a parapet with parapet gables on a double span roof, with stacks at both ends. The windows are regularly spaced, with three glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all featuring gauged heads. The central entrance door has six panels and is topped by a traceried semi-circular fanlight, set in a gauged surround with a keystone and imposts. Access to the garden is via three steps, and the garden is enclosed by walls approximately five feet high. These walls are built of flint next to the house, returning to the road with flint and brick facing, and are made of brick along the road front.
