Description

Firgrove Farmhouse and the outbuildings to the south are likely from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The farmhouse is located at the north end, while the outbuildings, which are of a similar age, are situated to the south. Both structures feature old tile roofs, with the southernmost bay being higher and having a separate hipped roof. The eaves have dentil brick detailing, except for the front of the farmhouse, which is clad in brick.

The farmhouse has been refaced in the 19th century and stands two storeys tall with two bays, each topped with a hipped gable. It has an eaves cornice and a colour-washed rendered front. The upper storey features sash windows set in reveals, with segmental heads and no glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two similar windows and a central modern porch with a lean-to roof. The entrance has a four-panelled Victorian door, with the upper two panels glazed. The return wall is made of pale red brick and has dentil brick eaves.

The outbuildings to the south are clad in brick, including some vitreous brick, and consist of five bays. There is a ledged loft door in the second bay, while the first, third, fourth, and fifth bays contain rectangular windows above and four segmental-headed openings of similar size below.
