Description
Haine Farmhouse is a house dating from the early 18th century, with possibly an earlier core. It is constructed of painted brick and features a plain tiled roof. The main part of the house has two storeys, set on a plinth, and includes a plat band and kneelered parapet gables, with stacks projecting to both the left and right. On the first floor, there are two glazing bar sash windows, and on the ground floor, there is a glazing bar sash window to the left and a sash window with a wooden casement to the right. To the right, there is a hipped wing that also has two storeys on a plinth, featuring a sash window on the front and another sash window on the right return, which includes a canted bay on the ground floor. At the rear, there are three single storey hipped ranges, along with a central weather boarded gabled block that has two storeys. Access to the house is through a glazed door located in a recessed porch on the right return.
