Description

RAMSGATE HOPE'S LANE TR 36 NE (north side) 1/228 No. 17 GV II House. C17, altered mid Cl9. Red brick in English bond, painted to rear elevations, with plain tiled roof. Two storeys and attic on plinth with boxed eaves to roof gabled to left and with segmentally pedimented shaped gable to right. Stacks to end left and end right, and 2 hipped dormers. Three sashes on first floor, and 2 C19 cross windows with segmentally headed surrounds in stock brick. Central gabled porch with panelled round-headed double doors. Probably the original Northwood Farmhouse.
