Description
Bromstone House is a late 18th-century building located on Bromstone Road in Broadstairs. It is a three-storey structure made of red brick, featuring a hipped tiled roof and a modillion eaves cornice. The facade includes five sash windows with intact glazing bars and a porch supported by Doric columns, adorned with a triglyph frieze.
Adjacent to Bromstone House are two older buildings. The first, on the right, is an early 18th-century, two-storey painted brick structure with an old tiled roof. It has two casement windows on the first floor and three sash windows with intact glazing bars, along with moulded architraves and Regency blinds. The right-side doorcase features moulded architraves and a flat wooden hood supported by brackets.
The second building, known as Bromstone House Cottage, dates from the mid-18th century and is a single-storey painted brick structure with a new tiled roof. It has two sash windows with intact glazing bars and a simple doorcase on the right side.
