Description

This arch, located in the grounds of No 1A on Oaklands Avenue, dates from the early 19th century and is likely a remnant of the pleasure garden at Ranelagh Grove. Constructed from burr bricks and stone fragments, it features an ogee-headed stone arch that probably includes some pieces of genuine medieval masonry, adding to its curiosity value.
