Description

This is an early to mid-19th century building of two storeys, faced with knapped flints and having a hipped slate roof. The front elevation features two sashes with vertical glazing only, set within stuccoed surrounds, and long and short quoins. A Victorian trellis-work porch adorns the doorcase. The left side elevation is faced with rough flints, while the right side elevation features a single sash and a mid-19th century stuccoed projection with a doorcase. A modern addition, comprising a garage and a room above, has been made to the left side elevation; the materials have been carefully matched, but it has a flat roof. The building forms a group with Nos. 2 to 6 (even) on Ranelagh Grove.
