Description

Nuckell's Almshouses, dated 1858, are located on the northeast side of High Street in St Peter's. This building features two storeys and a basement, constructed from brown brick with a painted wooden stringcourse. It has six sash windows with intact glazing bars, set in cambered heads. The central portion of the building projects slightly and has a brick pediment above two windows. There is a parapet, and a niche on the first floor contains a group of statuary. The entrance is marked by a Tuscan porch with a rectangular fanlight and steps leading to the street.
