Description

Grove Farmhouse and barn, dating from the late 18th century, are constructed of sandstone ashlar. The farmhouse front faces west, with two storeys and two windows, and a single-storey, L-shaped wing to the right. The wing has a glazed door. The farmhouse has sash windows with glazing bars set in wooden architraves. It features coped gables with square kneelers and corniced stone end stacks. The roof is pantiled with stone dressings, except for the end bay of the barn, which has an asbestos roof. The barn is located to the right of the farmhouse and shares a roof with the wing, except for the far-right bay, which is a separate structure. The barn includes a boarded door, a loading door, small vents, a round-arched cart entrance on its right, and stone dressings.
