This is a hand pump located 5 metres north of Hernhill Manor, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of cast iron and stands 5 feet high on a wooden base, featuring a leaden spout. The pump has an exposed crank mechanism and a curved handle that ends in a pierced heart-shaped weight.
