Description

Walnut Tree House is a house that dates from the 16th century, with 18th-century elements, and was restored and extended in the mid-20th century. It features a timber frame with exposed close studding and plaster infill, along with structural red brick additions and tile hanging on the first floor. The roof is plain tiled.

The right half of the front elevation has two storeys and a continuous jetty supported by dragon posts, with the roof hipped to the right and gabled to the left. There is one two-light and one three-light mullioned window with sidelights on the first floor, and continuous fenestration on the ground floor. To the left, there is a ribbed door in a moulded surround. The left half of the front has a hipped roof and one wooden casement window on each floor. There are 20th-century additions to the rear.
