Description

This is a range of 17th-century cottages that were refronted in the early 19th century. They stand two storeys high and feature a window and a door within each bay. The roofs are tiled at the rear, while the fronts have slate gabled roofs. The cottages are rendered and have a moulded eaves cornice and a moulded band above the ground floor. Numbers 51 and 54 each have a sash window on both the first and ground floors, with windows divided into three panes within frames. Number 52 has modern two-light windows, and number 51 has casement windows with glazing bars. To the left of each house is a doorway within a frame, with modern doors in place. Numbers 51 to 63 together form a group.
