Description

This is a timber-framed house dating from the 15th century, although it has been substantially altered. The original house had a jettied first floor, with the floor joists projecting from the front, but it was later refronted with imitation timberwork and cement infilling. The roof is tiled. Modern windows and a shop window have been inserted. The house is two storeys high and originally had two windows. It now forms part of the Castle Inn.
