Description

North End Cottage is a timber-framed building dating from the 15th to 16th century. The ground floor has been refaced with painted brick, while the first floor is plastered and slightly overhangs. The building stands two storeys high with attics and features a hipped tiled roof with two dormers. There are two casement windows. Number 34 includes an 18th-century curved shop window, complete with glazing bars and a door, both flanked by narrow reeded pilasters and topped with a cornice. Inside, the cottage has chamfered ceiling beams.
