Nos. 1 and 2, Market Place are a building dating from the 15th century, originally timber-framed with close-studded construction and plaster infilling. The ground floor has been rebuilt in painted brick. The roof is tiled. The building has four casement windows, with one sash window retaining its original glazing bars. It is two storeys high with attics, including one gabled dormer window.
