Description

Bybrook Tavern is a timber-framed house dating from the 15th to 16th century. The building has been largely refronted with red brick on the ground floor and tiles above, although some timber framing is still visible at the north end. It features a tiled roof with two small gables that have moulded bressumers. The facade includes three modern casement windows and a doorcase surrounded by a moulded architrave, topped with a projecting cornice. The door consists of six fielded panels, with the top two panels cut away and glazed. Bybrook Tavern and the barn to the west form a group.
