Description

The Parks and Cemeteries Office is a cemetery lodge built around 1870. It features an asymmetrical design with two storeys constructed from Kentish ragstone and a tiled roof. The left side has a gable with two oriel windows, while the central section includes an octagonal tower topped with a spirelet and a gablet on the right side. A decorative trefoil band and buttresses add to the building's character. The windows are fitted with leaded lights, and there is an arched doorcase. Gargoyles are positioned on either side of the tower, and two gablets are present on the left side elevation.
