Description

Ridgemount is a timber-framed building dating from the 15th to 16th century, likely of Wealden pattern, as there are traces of a recessed centre. It stands two storeys tall, with exposed timbering and plaster infilling on the north wall, although it has been refronted with weather boarding. The north end features a half-hipped gable, and the eaves of the central portion overhang on brackets. The roof is tiled, and there are casement windows. The ground floor has three modern bays, each with doorcases that have flat hoods supported by brackets.
