Description
This is an 18th-century building of three storeys and three windows, constructed of painted brick and topped with a parapet. The windows are set within moulded architraves, featuring large triple keystones above the ground-floor windows. Original glazing bars remain above the ground floor. The building has 19th-century shop fronts with more recent fascias, although an original Regency fascia is retained at the lower level. The rear of the building dates to the 16th century. This building is one of a group of listed buildings along The Market Place, together with numbers 1 and 2, 4 to 7 (inclusive), number 7A, and numbers 1 to 11 (inclusive) of Court Street.
