Description
This is an early 18th-century building on Chediston Street. It is two storeys high and constructed of painted brick, with a decorative band marking the first floor. The roof is covered in pantiles. The front of the building has four casement windows; one retains its original leaded glass. An early 19th-century shop front is located on the right-hand side, featuring slender, reeded wooden pilasters and an entablature. A flush-frame sash window with glazing bars is centrally positioned, while a more modern door is on the left. A former window has been filled in. The building forms a group with numbers 25 and 26 Market Place.
