Description

This 18th-century building comprises two properties, 1 and 3 Silver Street. It is three storeys high and constructed of red and painted brick, topped with a coped parapet. The building has four windows, featuring painted brick voussoirs and hung sash windows without glazing bars. Two modern shop fronts have been incorporated into the ground floor. A central passage provides access.

Properties 1 to 7 (odd numbers) on Silver Street form a group with number 10 Silver Street and numbers 21 to 27 (odd numbers) on Market Place. Numbers 25 and 27 Market Place are noted for their local interest.
