Description
Nos 5 and 7 Silver Street are late 18th century or early 19th century buildings that stand four storeys tall, constructed from red brick with a brick cornice. They feature stacks at the gable ends and have three windows with painted voussoirs and keystones. The top floor has hung sashes with glazing bars, while the other storeys do not have glazing bars. There is a band at the cills of the second floor. The ground floor has a modern shop front. These buildings, along with Nos 1 to 7 (odd) Silver Street, form a group with No 10 Silver Street and Nos 21 to 27 (odd) Market Place, with Nos 25 and 27 Market Place being of local interest.
