Description

No. 3 Market Place is a 17th-century building with alterations, featuring three storeys and a basement. It has a timber frame with stippled rendering and a low-pitched pantiled roof. The building includes a 19th-century wooden shop front and four flush frame sash windows, which now only have central glazing bars. The entrance is marked by a two-panel door with an architrave. Inside, there are stop-chamfered beams and an ovolo-moulded beam. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 10 (consecutive), St Keyne, and The Social Club.
