Description
28 and 29 Market Place are early 18th century buildings that stand two stories tall, constructed of brick and stucco with an ashlar lining. They feature a wooden cornice and plain tiles. The first floor has three windows in flush frames, which have been updated to casements. The ground floor includes a six-panel door with panelled linings, pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice, along with a sash window on the right. On the left, there is a mid-19th century shop front that also has pilasters and a cornice. These buildings are part of a group that includes the Market Place Wine Shop and Nos 25 to 29 Market Place.
