Description

No. 6 Market Place is an early 19th-century building with a front made of Suffolk yellow brick and a timber-framed rear that dates back to the 17th century. It is two stories tall and features two pilasters, a plinth, and a pantile roof. The first floor has three sash windows with glazing bars, flush frames, and stuccoed flat arches that include keys. The entrance consists of a six-panel door with panelled linings and a fanlight, accessed by three stone steps. There is a garage door where an original window once was on the right side. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 10 (consecutive), St Keyne, and The Social Club.
